Machomovers stands for the DJs Björn Brando and Jauche who is also known as Jack Flash. Both count to the pioneers of electronic sounds. DJ Jauche has achieved his greatest success so far with the boodtleg "Love Is In The Air” of 1998. Three years ago they caused a stir with their debut album "Sexy”, which they made known to the lovers of house music in their "sexy tour” all around Germany. The philosophy of the band consists of the fusion of live musicians and DJs. That is also the reason why they work together with different guest-artists during their studio- productions. Björn Brando and DJ Jauche, alias Jack Flash, regard their music as their life and they see House as their attitude to life, which they prove in their current work "Bare, Deep & Long” (in German "Blank, tief & lang”).
Why this title? Quite simple: 140 minutes delicacy, kept in orange (CD1) and blue (CD2), are waiting for our fastidious ears. Among them we can enjoy well known songs in a new style, like for example "Shakin” or the two-part "We Love Music”-track, which was seasoned by the saxophone of Paul Griesbach. The Machomovers dared to cover the world hit "Smooth Operator”, originally chanted by Sade. For "Bare, Deep & Long” Desney Bailey snatched at the micro to provide an interpretation that guarentees goose bumps...of course, those goose bumps you get when you are more than just satisfied with a moment.
sexy" vor drei jahren war ein langspielkracher. Die machomover waren mit die ersten, die neben den turntablerockern das funk-house-dance-ding in deutschland etablierten. Man erinnere sich an das exzellente jägermeisterteil. Nun legen jauche und björn brando mit dieser doppel-cd nach. Und die ist wirklich sagenhaft. Zwischen deep house ( "time in your life" ) und dicken beatstücken, kommt der funk im house zur geltung. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die länge der stücke, die zwischen sechs und dreizehn ( ! ) minuten variirt. Egal was man spielt, der dancefloor wird jubelieren. Für alle freunde von malente, fort knox five oder den torpedo boys ein gefundenes fressen. Carsten becker

jeden mittwoch moderiert dj jauche die sendung "sophisticated house" auf dem sender "nova radio". wöchentlich gibt es von 19.00 uhr bis 20.uhr Neuvorstellungen in sachen housemusic, infos, lieblingstracks und einen klassiker zu hören. auf den unten aufgeführten frequenzen ist die sendung zu hören. |
